Roselle American Legion Charitable Foundation
Foundation Purpose: The purpose of the Foundation shall be to promote the principles and policies set forth in the preamble and the national and departmental Constitutions of The American Legion. Further, the purpose of the Foundation shall be to support the health and welfare of veterans of the Armed Forces of the United States.
The Roselle American Legion Charitable Foundation (RALCF) was formed in 2006, and is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law. The Foundation has raised over $100,000 and funded such activities as the American Legion Gifts to the Yanks Who Gave, Midwest Shelter for Homeless Veterans, Operation Comfort Warriors, Heroes to Hometown, Wounded Warrior Project, Honor Flight Chicago and others. The RALCF has supported service projects at Veterans Administration hospitals at Hines and North Chicago. The Foundation funds an ongoing project to send care packages to active duty military deployed overseas.
